No. 53707/1/36 of 3rd July, 1936, enclosing a copy
of Hong Kong Ordinance No. 17 of 1936, respecting
the levy on official salaries.
In view of Section 5 of the Ordinance,
we presume that the levy should be continued at the
rates shewn therein, up to the 31st December, 1936.
Will you please confirm that this is so.
