With further reference to my despatch No.355
of 8th June, 1936, regarding the question of amending Article 194 of the Order-in-Council dealing with the control of China Companies, I have the honour to inform you that a copy of His Britannic Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires' despatch to the Foreign Office of 2nd July, 1936 (No.36 Tour Series)
has now been received. I consider it advisable in the circumstances to forward for information a copy (in duplicate) of a minute by the Attorney General dealing with the points raised in that despatch.

A copy of this despatch with enclosure
has been sent to His Britannic Majesty's Chargé D'Affaires, His Britannic Majesty's Consul-General in Shanghai, and to His Britannic Majesty's Diplomatic Mission in Nanking.
