some time past he has been working on records in the Colonial Office and has also been making investigarions in the Colonial Office Library. He seems to have reached
a stage in his collection of material when he would welcome authoritative advice regarding further procedure and also regarding the relation of his work to the general history of our colonial Empire. Obviously there is no one better fitted than yourself to give such advice and the Far East Department of this office would be most grateful if you
could find time for a talk with him.
It is quite certain now that the Advisory Committee will meet on 26th March. If you are coming up for that
meeting, and I think that you will find items on the agenda list of sufficient importance to justify your coming, could you possibly give him some time in the afternoon at any
