however, the majority of the present members are keen and efficient.

The Troop again turned out a 100% parade for the king's

Birthday and also for the G.0.0's Inspection, and Combined Night

Operation (apart from sickness and leave).

The Dowbiggin Trophy Point-to-Foint was again won by a

recruit. Trooper Cheape and for Gymkhana events again by Captain

A.H. Potts.

The Gymkhana hold in October was in every way a success.

The Alarm Race was won by Corporal Fields section, and the

Recruits Cup by Trooper Gregory.

The Stable has been well maintained and the ponies are all

in excellent condition. The fact that 80% of the winners at kwanti

during the past season come from the Troop Stable speaks for

itsolf.

A start has boen made to partially machanize the Troop

a Chevrolet Car being obtained, fitted to carry 6 mon and 2 guns.

ARMOURED CAR SECTION.

Officer Commanding

Second Lieutenant G.C. Moutrie (on leave)

Sergeant J.S. Flogg.

Personnel. The strength of the Section on 24th March 1936

was 1 Officer, 18 Rank and Filo, as compared with 1 Officer, 21

Rank and File at same date last year.

Of the strength shown, 1 Officer and 6 Rank and File are on

leave, leaving 12 Rank and File in the Colony.

During the year under review, 2 mon resigned on leaving the

Colony, 1 man transferred to No.2 (Scottish) Company, 1 man

transforrod to the Air arm, and 1 man joined.

Vehicles. There are on charge, as last year, two

Thornycroft A.F.V's. each carrying two Vickors Guns. As it is very

undesirable to use a single car on any patrol, I would re-iterate

the necessity of two more cars as soon as financial conditions

permit. I suggest that, when the purchase of new cars

entertained, a smaller type of vehicle be considered.
