British Empire and China Trade Fair
Ofacturers for the British Empire and China Trade Fair,
F the 10,000 square feet allotted to British manu-
Hong Kong, 6,800 feet have now been booked. Manu- facturers still desirous of entering must do so by the end of May. Mrs. Beatrice Thompson, the organiser, is leaving London for India shortly, but applications for space may be sent to B.I.H. The Canadian Government has decided to participate, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce is sending a delegation of fourteen to the Fair.
The period of the Fair has now been fixed for February, 1937, instead of December, 1936. February is the Chinese New Year, when all Chinese make up their books and renew contracts, and it is therefore an excellent buying month.
