The Under Secretary of State for the Home Department

presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of State

for the Colonies and is directed by the Secretary of

State to transmit herewith a form of Declaration and

photographs relating to Anthony Wong or Cheong

and to say that, so far as this Department is concerned, there is no objection to the application being proceeded with and a special seaman's certificate issued in favour of the applicant if, on enquiry, he is found to be a

native of Hong Kong.

The man's baptism certificate is also enclosed

for eventual return.
