With reference to Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister's confidential despatch of the 12th January, 1932, I have the honour to inform you that I have, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure appointed the ilonourable Ir. Chau Tsun Nin to be an unofficial member of the Legislative Council for a further term of four years with effect from
the 2nd December, 1935.
2. A copy of the instrument appointing Mr. Chau
is enclosed.
3. In accordance with Colonial Regulation 155,
I enclose also a list of the present members of Legislative
Council.
