An Ordinance to amend the law relating to societies.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Societies Ordinance, Short title. 1920.
2. In this Ordinance,
(a) "Place" includes vessel.
(b) "Society" includes every club, company, guild, lodge, partnership, union, or other association of persons, what- soever, and every branch of any such association.

3. The following societies are hereby declared to be Societies unlawful societies:---

(c) all societies which have among their objects unlawful purposes or purposes incompatible with the peace and good order of the Colony.

4.-(1) It shall be lawful for the Governor in Council in Societies his absolute discretion to declare to be unlawful any society we declared which in his opinion-
(a) has among its objects unlawful purposes or purposes incompatible with the peace and good order of the Colony, or
