premises are surrendered by the Department to the Colonial Government, the latter will refund the cost by a cash payment.
I am to request that this proposal may be referred
to the Colonial Government.
A copy of this letter is being forwarded to the General Officer Commanding with instructions to confer with representatives of the Colonial Government, as may be necessary, on any points of detail arising out of the proposal.
