AFFILIATED UNITS.
NURSING DETACHMENT.
A Nursing Detachment from ladies in the Colony was formed
in September 1934 and the strength now stands at 75.
The organization and training follows that of a voluntary
Aid Detachment.
Since the formation, the following qualifications have been
obtained:-
Nursing Detachment

An examination in First Aid is at present in progress, after
which it is anticipated that about forty members will be qualified.
Twenty six members of the Detachment attended a three-day
Camp at FANLING in November and, in addition to First Aid and Home
Nursing, instruction was given in anti-Gus measures, Map Reading, Stretcher Drill and Fhysical Training.
The Dotachment will be available to Command Headquarters on mobilization for duty in hospitals.
