Loan Works.
Shing Mun Valley Water Scheme-2nd Section.
Gorge Dam, $1,800,000.-Will be referred to by the Hon. Colonial Secretary in
his Budget Speech.
2nd 24" Main Trunk Main, $250,000.-To lay a 24" Steel Trunk Main from the Shing Mun Service Reservoir at Sheklaipui to Yaumati Hill Service Reservoir. This is part of the normal development of the Shing Mun Scheme.
3rd Section Rapid Gravity Filters, $150,000.-To construct at Sheklaipui the third section of Rapid Gravity Filters of a capacity of five million gallons per day to deal with the additional water from the new Shing Mun Jubilee Dam. This is part of the normal development of the Shing Mun Scheme.
Vehicular Ferry.
Vehicular Ferry, $1,582.50.-To complete the scheme.
New Gaol at Stanley.
New Gaol at Stanley, $2,600,000.--To complete the scheme. The works include the erection of the Hospital, Assembly Hall, Printing Shop, Baths and Laun- dry. The purchase and installation of Printing Shop and Laundry equip- ment is allowed for in the estimate.
Tytam Tuk Catchwaters.
Tytam Tuk Catchwaters, $59,751.17.-To complete the scheme of catchwaters at Mount Pottinger, Mount Parker and Dragons Back. These catchwaters discharge into Tytam Tuk Reservoir.
Air Port.
Air Port and Seaplane Slipway, $151,304.14.-To complete the work under this sub-head, viz., the Civil Hangar and the levelling of the area known as the Flight Gap which adjoins the northern boundary of the Aerodrome.
