With reference to your minute of the
22nd November, regarding the Hong Kong dollar,
will you please let us know whether we should
use the wording to which you refer in papers
of particulars of appointments which we issue
to candidates for appointments filled by us;
or whether, as has been our practice hitherto,
the details of the method of conversion given
in the particulars of the office received from
the Colony should be given, e.g., as in the
case of the vacancy for an Electrical Technician
in the Public Works Department referred to in
Colonial Office letter No. 53670/35 of the
25th October.
