He
I have the honour to acknowledge your
despatch No. 27 of 20th January, 1936, forwarding a note
from His Excellency the French Ambassador and a
Commission Rogatoire for the interrogation of Henri
Jusserand.

The Commission Rogatoire has been given
effect to and M. Jusserand's statement is embodied in the
Certificate drawn up by the Registrar, Supreme Court of
the Colony. This Certificate, together with the Commission Rogatoire in original and translation, and
certain other documents is contained in the sealed cover
addressed to:-
The Investigating Magistrate,
Court of Assizes,
Landes,
Mont de Marsan,
France.
and I have to request that you will be good enough to
transmit this cover to His Excellency the French
Ambassador through the usual channels.
