The Honourable
The Colonial Secretary, Government of Hong Kong, Victoria, Hong Kong.
Sir,
5
THE CROWN COLONIST,
33, Tothill Street,
Westminster, London, S.W.1,
4th February, 1935.
We have the honour to inform you that the May issue of "The Crown Colonist" will be a special Number in celebration of His Majesty's Silver Jubilee.
There will be additional editorial pages which will deal with the changes which have taken place in the Colonies during the last twenty-five years. The growth of communications will be particularly emphasized, and we hope to have articles from authorities regarding the development of airways, wireless and telephonic and telegraphic communica- tion.
We believe that the Number will be of particular interest and we are writing to ask if your Government would like to insert an advertisement in this issue. The ordinary rate for advertisements is £25. per page, but as is our usual practice, announcements by Colonial Governments will be accepted at the special rate of £10.
We will be happy to offer the services of our studio for the preparation of an advertisement for a fee of one guinea.
The Number will be published on the 17th
April and will close for press on the 6th April, so we shall be grateful if you will let us have an early reply.
Yours faithfully,
sd. illegible.
