Dear Sayers,
We received recently from your Government an
Interesting account of the steps that are being taken
towards the establishment of the new Trade School con-
bemplated in White's report, Sessional Paper 6 of 1934.
This account and connected papers were enown by us to
Dr. McLean, a member of our Committee, whose technicsl
and educational experience in the Suden nas made him
specially interested in all sucn schemes.
He was most
favourably impressed by the plans, estimates, sad genersi
proposals for estimates and added :-
"Tue caly suggestion I would venture to offer is that the Yard space is a litvie cramped. I have found that as such esta- biisaments develop there is need for storage space for large odds and ends and for com- porary purposes. It might be useful if an sres of land could be reserved, behind uns
