I am directed by Secretary sir Damuel Hoare to inform you that
he concurs in the view of the lords Commissioners of the
Admiralty that the various questions at issue might advantageoualy
be discussed by a small interdepartmental conference. It i#
proposed that Ar. 0.V.Kituon, of the Far eatern Department,
shall represent the foreign office et this conference, and I
as accordingly to request that any relevant papers may be
forwarded to kr. Zitson for perusal and the time of the first
zeeting communicated to him as soon as possible.
