with reference to Your Excellancy's doop: tah
No. 140 (25/63\/1984) of the 20th October last and to
previous correspondence relative to the expropriation
of certain Chinese tenants in Kowloon City, I have the
honour to transmit, herewith, cogy and trunalation of
a letter dated the 29th June 1955, which I have ressived
from the ɑpecial Delegate for Foreign Affairs at Canton,
painting art that me Kowloɑn City is chinose territory
and has not been lessed to Great Britain, the Coverszent
of Hong Kong has no power to remove the Chinese residents.
I propose to send a formal acknowledgment to
IT. Kan Châa lou pending roonipt of Your Excelleney's
instructions.
