I have the honour to acknowledge the
receipt of your Secret despatch of 23rd. February,
1935, on the subject of the proposed establishment
of a branch of the National Seamen's Union in
Hong Kong, and to enclose copies of correspondence
which passed during 1934, between this Government
and the Consul-General in Canton.

Copies of this correspondence had already
been furnished to His Majesty's Minister before his
visit to Hong Kong in November, 1934.
