7. His Majesty's lovernment have
undertaken to inform the United States
Government of any decision which they may
reach in regard tɔ the export of arms to
China. They are therefore availing
themselvcs of this opportunity to make a
communication to the United States Government
in the sense of tuis note, setting out the
nature of the replies which have been
received, and sugesting that if the replies
of the Belgian and of the Swiss Governments
appear to them in the same light as to His
Majesty's Government, support should also
be given by the United States Government
to His Majesty's government's representations
referred to in paragraḥti 6 above.
