With reference to Colonial Office letter dated
(b) the 13th September 1934, No.33743/34, concerning the
removal of the aerial ropeway which traverses the
Arsenal Yard, Hong Kong, I am commanded by My Lords
Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for
the information of the Secretary of State for the
Colonies, that My Lords are in correspondence with
the War Office, and understand that the Army Council
have been consulting their local Officers at Hong Kong
on this matter.
As soon as the final views of the Army Council
have been received, Their Lordships will communicate
with you again.
