These figures are for an area of 10,000 sq.ft.
which is approximately the area of the plot coloured red
in your plan. The exact shape and size of the area to
be retransferred to the Admiralty and the charges to be
made will have to await a final decision as to the layout
of the whole area acquired by Goverment. This is now
being considered.
2.
It will be necessary to obtain the approval of
the Secretary of State for the Colonies for this retransfer
end this will be sought by telegram as soon as I receive a
definite intimation to the effect that the Admiralty desires
to re-acquire a portion of the site and agrees to the terms
as set out above.
