if a settlement is required as a matter of urgency,

the sooner a meeting takes place the better if only

to settle the latter point.

Accordingly I am inviting the Air Ministry

and War Office to attend a meeting here at 11 a.m. Westerday

for circulation of copies of the memorandum enclosed

with your letter of 3rd December and of a complementary

memorandum which has been produced by the Air Ministry)

and I shall be glad to know whether that date and time
