On 22nd June I was at lower tram station.
That afternoon I helped to rescue little girl from the nullah.
I heard a girl coreaming in the nullan and a woman from above called out to me.
A European lady.
I went down into the nullah and Lee Fook helped me.
we got the girl out.
She was under the tramway bridge.
✓ I handed her over to inspector Andrews.

On22nd June I was travelling down in the tram.
I got off at the lower tram station at 3.18 p.m. and saw a little girl in the nullah.
Also two Chinese chair coolies.
They handed her up to mer
I then went to the station where a soldier handed me a little boy.
They were Fay Bromley and Tony Flood.
They were both wet and cold.

I was in storeroom which is just beside trumway.
About three p.m. I heard a boy borezming.
I went out to see and saw a boy in nullah under No.1 bridge.
He was on lower side of bridge, the side furthest from tram station.
He was on the farfside of the nullah from me and clear of the bridge.
I went into the nullah and took him out.
I handed him to a soldier.

I heard a noise end children screaming.
I went to the iron railings near the nullah.
I saw a Chinese man and a European boy being washed down the nullah.
