On 23rd June I received under seal a bottle of urine from Dr.Valentine.
The bottle contained about seven fluid ounces.
I tested for alcohol.
It was present to amount of 110 m.g. to 100 c.c.
From a paper read to Society of Public Analysts I am of opinion that alcohol reaches its maximum in urine about 1 hours after taking.

The alcohol content then diminishes by 12 mg per hour per 100 c.c. of blodd.
Ratio between content in blood and content in urine seems to be constant.
Urine is 1.35% and blood is 1%.
Iff accused passed no urine between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. then
6 p.m. urine alcohol content would represent the average between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
I have worked out what the content would be at 4
It would be 126 mg.per 100 c.c.
At 3 p.m. it would be 142 mg.
At 2 p.m. it would have been 158 mg.
At 1 p.m: it would have been a 174 mg.
At noon it would have been 190 mg.
p.m.
That would involve taking the alcohol about 10.30 a.m.
96 c.c. of absolute alcohol will give 200 mg.per 100 c.c.
That would represent about 7 fluid ounces of whiskey,
English strength.
Chinese wine at 30% by weight and 36% by volume is weaker than whiskey.
9 fluid ounces of such wine would produce that result. Two tablespoonfuls is one ounce.
13 fluid ounces of 20% wine and 15 fluid ounces of 18% wine would give same results.
