On examination I found human blood present.

Next day I received this knife (Ext.2)

On blade I found brown substance on both sides whole length of blade.

Handle was clean.

Eubstance contained human blood.

On 26th July I handed knife and tin back to Sergt. Allen.

James Thornton imelley 88. xd. Fraser.

Sen.Med.Officer Kowloon Hospital.

On 21st July at 4.45 a.m. I examined accused.

He had improvised tourniquet made out of a vest above left knee.

He also had improvised dressing on left ankle.

I found a contused area on back of left chest small.

-

14" wound on left shin bone about junction of middle and

upper third.

24" wound on inner aspect of left ankle.

From that wound there had been arterial hɛeomorrhage - artery was out.

Injuries were quite recent, consistent with infliction after 2.30 a.m.

Wound was irregularly incised wound edger jagged in places. Wound consistent with falling on and breaking jars of pottery like Ext.3

lie nad lost a certain amount of blood.

If he walked with that wound there would have been spurting of blood, and also running of blood down to ground.

Spurting would be inwards to other leg.

Loss of blood not sufficient to weaken him greątly.

He could easily have walked 500 yards.

Accused discharged on 14th August, limping slightly.

If he was discharged in afternoon he would have had a meal between 12. and 12.30 p.m.
