Item 4, Vehicular Ferry·
The revised estimate of the cost,
namely, $1,900,000 was approved in (2) on 33845/34.
Item 5, Gaol.
The estimated cost of the gaol was
originally $4,500,000 and this was increased in the
Estimates for 1934 to $4,631,000. We approved the
charging of the cost of the gaol to Loan Funds in
7(a) on 82818/31. I cannot, however, find that the
increase in the original estimate of the total cost
has been approved by the Secretary of State.
Item 6, Tytam Tuk Catchwaters.
In 13(a) on 13789/33, we were informed
that the original estimate had been increased from
$690,000 to $800,000. It appears now to have been
reduced to $700,000.
Item 9, Gorge Dam.
A Progress Report is given on page 33
of enclosure (6) to (1).
