that no provision has been made for 1935 for

a subsidy to Commercial Aviation, because there

is no prospect of a subsidy being required in

1935. No change of policy is involved and

provision for a subsidy will no doubt be made

when the necessity arises. It is clear from

the Governor's remarks in Legislative Council

that an Air Mail Service to and from the Colony

is regarded as being of the greatest importance.

An increase in expenditure of

$204,038 on account of new posts is offset to the extent of $78,327 as a result of the

abolition of posts. The most noteworthy
