I certify that adequate and timely

notification was made of the intention of the parties

concerned to apply to the Legislative Council of Hong

Kong for an Ordinance styled "An Ordinance to provide

for the Incorporation of the Regional Superior in Hong

Kong of the Foreign Mission Sisters of St. Dominic

commonly known as Maryknoll Sisters" before the same

was brought into the Legislative Council. Such

notification was made in the manner following:-

Notification of the intention of the parties

to apply for the said Ordinance was advertised in two

issues of the Government Gazette on the 22nd and 29th

of June, 1934; and in one issue each of two English

and two Chinese newspapers circulating in the Colony,

namely,

The South China Morning Post, The Hong Kong

Daily Press, The Chun Wan Yat Po, and The Wah

Tsz Yat Po, on the 26th June, 1934.

A draft of the proposed said Ordinance was further

published in two issues of the Government Gazette on the

22nd and 29th of June, 1934.

A proof of the notification was made before

the Governor in Executive Council.
