Enquiries might also be made regarding a portable

field strength measuring equipment for use in the Colony.

General Information.

To assist the Consulting Engineers and the

contractors it is pointed out that it is decided to instal

the Transmitter at Cape D'Aguilar and the Receiver at the Victoria Peak Receiving Station.

The distance between these stations, as the

crow flies is 8 miles.

Central Radio Office to Cape D'Aguilar

All cable connections are made via Central Radio

Office, the cable connecting Peak Receiving Station and

Central Radio Office consists of 50 pairs 5 of which are 40 1

copper and 45 of 20 lb. copper, the pairs already in use carry

receiver signals, tone line and talking circuits.

The cables between Central Radio Office and Cape

D'Aguilar consist of 25 pair cable, 5 pairs of which consist

of 40 lb. copper and 20 pairs of 20 lb. conductors, five of

either size are available, the remainder being already in use

as keying and telephone circuits.
