I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of Your Excellency's despatch No.1371/53 of the 26th.
of September, addressed to His Majesty's Diplomatic
Mission at Nanking, in which you enclosed two copies
of the Working Agreement for through Traffic between
the Chinese and British Sections of the Fowloon-Canton
Railway signed by you.

I have forwarded these two copies to the wai
Chiao Pu at Nanking for transmission to the Ministry
of Railways in accordance with your request. A copy
of my covering Note is enclosed.
3.
The two copies of the Agreement, signed by the
Minister of Pailways, were forwarded to you under cover
of my despatch No.86 of the 2nd. ctober last.
