The through traffic agreement for the Chinese and
British sections of the line has again been revised.
The re-cistribution fixed in the new agreement results
in an increase of seven per cent in freight and passenger
receipts from through traffic. It is hereby ordered that
this increased revenue shall be earmarked solely for the
repayment of the indebtedness (of the Railway) to the British
and Chinese Corporation.
A special account is to be opened in the bank for the
deposit of this sum and the figure so deposited is to be re-
ported each month.
You are to comply and to report to me on this subject.
