I have the honour to acknowledge the
receipt of your despatch No.406 of the 26th
October, 1933, informing me that His Majesty will
not be advised to exercise his power of disallowance
in respect of Ordinance No. 15 of 1933 entitled "An
Ordinance to make provision for the redemption of
the bonds issued under the authority of the Public
Works Loan Ordinance, 1927".

I shall be glad if you will convey to
the Army Council the assurance of this Government
that any ultimate surpluses of the sinking fund to
be raised under the Ordinance not required for the
service of the Bonds will not be disposed of in
such a manner that they will fail to be subject to
assessment to military contribution.
