act, failure, neglect, omission, or refusal whereby any provision of this Ordinance is contravened during the progress of such building, or pending the issue of the permit required by this Ordinance to be obtained prior to occupation.

The person signing such notice shall, in the event of the information contained therein being proved to be materially in- correct, be liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars.

(b) Proper plans of such building signed by an authorised architect showing figured dimen- sions and the position of all portions of the building, and the purpose for which they are intended, shall be submitted to the Building Authority with the aforesaid notice and require to be approved by him as being in conformity with the require- ments of this Ordinance. Every such plan shall, in the case of repairs or reconstruc- tion, show such portions of the old building and adjoining buildings as the Building Authority may require as well as the new building in such a way as to differentiate clearly the old from the new, and shall also, unless dispensed with by the Build- ing Authority, show the details of any drainage to be constructed. Every such plan shall be drawn on tracing linen or other material approved by the Building Authority to a scale of not less than one-tenth of an inch to the foot, and shall contain enlarged details with figured dimensions, of the principal features of construction, and shall also show the position and levels of the surrounding ground and buildings. In cases where several alterations are made in the original design during the carrying on of works involving the submission of amended plans, the Building Authority may require the submission of a complete set of new plans shewing the building as completed. In the case of minor alterations or repairs the Building Authority may dispense with the submission of plans by an authorised architect.

(c) Supervision in and throughout the carry- ing on of works shown on any plan submitted to and approved by the Building Authority shall be exercised by the authorized architect who has signed such plan unless such authorised architect has notified the Building Authority in writing that the supervision of such works has been deputed

another authorised architect.

(d) A block plan shewing clearly the situation of the premises and the neighbouring streets and buildings drawn to a scale of not less than one inch to sixty feet shall be deposited with such plans and when required by the Building Authority such block plan shall show all development

streets within the lot.

(e) The Building Authority may also require any other information concerning the pro- posed building and the uses to which it is to be put that he may deem necessary.
