Objects and Reasons.
This is a new Ordinance, drafted by the Director of Medical and Sanitary Services to provide an up to date code for Quarantine and Prevention of Disease which has been inadequately dealt with hitherto under the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, and the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1899. It is one of a series of Bills which have been drafted to replace the former Ordinance.
