With reference to the minutes of the
meeting or the Imperial communications Committee
held on the 14th March last, and to Imperial
Communicatins Committee Papers Nos.1453,1457,
and 1501, Iam directed by Secretary S11 Philip
Cunliffe-Lister to transmit to you copies of
telegrams received from the Governors of the
Straits Settlements and of Hon Kong regarding
proposals for certain new wireless telephone
services.
Subject to the concurrence of the
Imperial Communications Comittee,Sir Philip
Cunliffe-Lister proposes to inform the Governors
of the Straits Settlements and of Hong Kong that
they may proceed with the inauguration of these
services.
