Copy of telegram from Colonial Secretary, Hong Kong
to the Crown Agents.
Dated and received 7th October 1933.
Referring to your telegram of 20th September Police leave
and passages are now governed by separate rules under
Police Force ordinance. First tour 5 years and leave
accumulated 1 day for every 8 days resident service.
Succeeding tours until age of 45 and 20 years service
4 years and leave 1 day for 7. Maximum leave one
time 8 months.
After 45 and 20 tours 3 years rates
2 for 11 maximum 7 months.
Voyage included in leave.
Full passage provided on completion of appropriate
tours.
