Company showed various telephone appliances including a
teleprinter, they also installed a Public Address System
which operated as an internal broadcasting system within the
Hotel (but was not extended, for mechanical reasons, to the
Pavilion on the other side of the road). Exhibitors were allow
ed to broadcast advertising muxiolomaets over this eyetom
at intervals, It was also used by the organisere to malco
general announcements to the public,
