Attention is drawn to the danger of employers

of Muitsai in the Colony, evading the regulations by

posing as parents or adoptive parents. It is stated

that there is not much risk of detection.

The District Watch Committee is said to

control an auxiliary Police Force of 120 men whose

duty it is to deal with matters relating to the welfare

and morals of women and children. I have not heard

of this auxiliary Police Force nor can I find any

reference to it in the Annual Police Report, the

Estimates or despatches from the Governor on the

subjects of Muitsai and Social Hygiene.
