The Chinese Government cannot therefore deny that persons born of Chinese parents in British territory

have in fact dual nationality, but from the point of

view of the Chinese Nationality Law it is definitely

impossible to admit that such persons are divested of

their Chinese nationality. If, therefore, in the

present position of existing Chinese legislation, it

is desired to further discuss this question, there is

very little likelihood of any complete result being

thereby attainable.
