No. 232.
asd.
GOVERNMENT HOUSE,
8 MAY 1933 JOOL, OFFICE
HONG KONG, 11th April, 1933.
Sir,
Encl.No.1.
Encl.No.2.
16187/26
I have the honour to recommend the sale to Mr. Chung
Ching of the area shown coloured red on the attached plan for
the purposes of a dairy for a period of ten years and subject to
the enclosed particulars and conditions.
2.
This lot is in the area which has been specifically
set apart for dairies and for which Government constructed an
approach road; in this connection please see Lieutenant Colonel
Amery's despatch No.279 of the 28th August, 1926. The terms and
conditions are the same as have been granted to fifteen dairy
owners who have during the past ten years taken up dairy farm
lots, New Kowloon Dairy Farm Lots Nos. 115, in the vicinity.
Through an oversight your authority was not obtained for these
grants and I should be glad if it might now be given.
3. As it is the policy of the Government to lease land
for dairies in this area on terms similar to those proposed in this case, I should be glad to know if your general approval could be given for the leasing of future lots on similar terms in order to obviate the necessity for seeking your approval in each individual case.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE

Your most obedient, humble servant,
