The Under Secretary of State for the
Colonies presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of State, War Office, and with reference to the letter from the Colonial Office of the 7 JUL 1933
regarding the Hong Kong Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, is
directed to invite attention, in connection with
paragraph 4 of the report of the Attorney-eneral of Hong Kong on that Ordinance, to War Office Secret letter No.083/5857 (.0.1) of the 12th of Uctober
1932, and connected correspondence, on the subject of the enrolment of, and grant of Commissions to, foreign subjects in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps.
