appear to be in Hong Kong many

projects, such, for example, as

those connected with approaches to

vehicle and passenger ferries,

which render it desirable that

legislation on the general lines

of the Bill enclosed herewith should

be enacted. Provision has now

been inserted in the Bill for the

hearing of objections before

approval is given to any proposed

works, and for the appointment of

assessors to advise the Judge upon

matters requiring professional

knowledge.
