Referring to your letter 13725/1933 of 10th March,
the Statement of Fines levied at Swatow and Canton has
crossed your letter.
We regret that we have no specific information from
the East with regard to fines imposed in connection with
ships which proceed direct from Hong Kong to the different
ports in China. As far as we can ascertain from our
"Steamers' Movements" lists, the following vessels on the
Shanghai Statement proceeded direct from Hong Kong to the
port concerned, but in a few cases the vessels did not
start at Hong Kong :-
