by these prosecutions, to the notice of the Customs Authorities as evidence that the Company is actively co-operating with this Government in the attempt to
suppress this form of smuggling and the relaxation of
customs fines notified in your Confidential despatch
of the 25th May may well be due in some measure to this
evidence.
