I have the honour to request your
approval for the grant to the Trustees of the Church
of England of the area shown coloured red on the
attached plan. A copy of the terms and conditions,
which have been accepted by the Trustees, is also
attached. These follow the usual lines in such
cases; no premium, a nominal Crown Rent of $1 per annum,
and a covenant restricting the use of the lot to
The lot is adjacent to the
Kowloon Tong Garden City and will be on the edge of
the proposed Kowloon Tsai Garden City, for which
provision is made under subhead 99 on page 105 of the
1933 Estimates. There is at present no Anglican
religious purposes.
