Mr. Russell Brown's eligibility for
pension in respect of that service
was governed by the special arrange-
ment laid down by the Treasury in
the correspondence of 1924 to which
you refer.
2. The Lords Commissioners of
the Treasury are now being asked to
approve the payment to Mr. Russell
from he votes of this wept. Brown/of a gratuity of £149:10: Od
in respect of his service in Wei-hai-wei.
