Success of the Feir
On all sides people were talking of the success
of the Fair. It has proved many things and more than
anything else it proved the value of advertising and
judicious publicity. Many firms were delighted with
the orders they received. All Dominion representatives
agreed that their respective countries would benefit
materially as the result of the Fair. They expressed
the hope that the Fair would be an annual one and
indicated that exhibits from their respective countries
would be bigger and better next year. The "South China
Morning Post" in its leading article of May 25 advocates
the holding of an Annual Fair on a much larger scale
which would be self-supporting.
