Indian Coal.
As in the case of rattan furniture samples of the
best coals of purely Indian origin were on view in the
Flowers Corridor. These coals are imported by Amri thal
vjha & Company, colliery proprietors and general merchants.
Gilman & Comm any.
This firm put up a fine show of Australi an wines
(Seppelts) and are said to have secured many orders.
A S. Watson & Company,
These well-known chaniats had a prettily decorated
stall. British beauty preparaticas were cleverly exploited
in this display, while many of their local preparatios
vere also exhibited.
General Electric Company, (China) Limited. Company
This/had an attractive display of electric fans,
electric kettles, coffee cœtainers, esran bulbs, wireless
sets, electric irons, torches etc.
Imperial Chemical Industries.
This Company occupied a prominent place in the Fair
and their exhibits included a great variety of British
Manufactures. une section was given up entirely to dyes and
dyed cloths, A good selection of dyestuffs in tins was on
view and the assortment of Caledon cloth was a features
Section two of the same firm's display was mainly devoted
to polishes which included Brasso, Silvo, Cherry Blossom
boot polish, Mansion Polish for floors and Min Cream (for
pianos, gramaphones and other furniture with highly
polished surfacca). There was also to be found in, the
Imperial Chemi onl Industries stand such indispensable
goods as Colman's mustard and rice starch, also Waverly
Cats, Robertam's patent barley.
