buildings within 24 months from the date of letter

giving possession of that area.

The lot has been developed and the red area built

る。 It has since been decided to proceed with the 100

foot road, but the area cross-hatched red cannot be developed

until the road has been formed and the tram lines diverted.

4. The lay-out of this area has since been amended and

the lessees have now applied for an extension to the lot as

shown coloured red and cross-hatched red in plan "B", which

conforms to the amended lay-out. As Inland Lot No.2845 was

originally sold to them as a corner lot with a 60 foot road

on its eastern side, the abandonment of this road in the new

lay-out might well give them a claim against Government for

depreciation of their property in the event of the area now

applied for being sold to a third party. I therefore

recommend that it be granted to them on the terms and condi-

tions set out below:

(a) The extension containing about 7,500 square feet

shown coloured red and cross-hatched red on plan

"B" to be included in the Crown Lease of Inland

Lot
