agent of the accused.

It was essential for the Crown to prove the agency of Lau.
The evidence called by the Grown not only did not prove that
but was inadmissible.
Facts:
Lau was acting as agent from the 25th February, long
before the Zimmern and Christie plot. There is a complete
self-contained and coherent story of the murder of Sung by
Chui and Wong at the instigation of Lau. In that story
there was no evidence that frisoner was the principal of Lau.
The insern and Christie story is also a complete and self-
contained story, relating to a distinet crime. This i
clear instance of an attempt by the Crown to prove one crime
